Safety warnings diffuser / reed diffuser

The liquid in a diffuser contains concentrated fragrance oil and is not suitable for consumption. Handle the bottle with care and keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Safe use

• Keep out of reach of children and pets — the liquid is toxic if swallowed


• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth or skin — rinse immediately with water if contact occurs


• Use the diffuser in a well-ventilated area only


• Place the diffuser on a stable, flat surface


• Never place the bottle directly on wood, lacquer, leather or painted surfaces — the liquid can cause stains or damage


• Always use a coaster or tray under the bottle


• Turn the reeds regularly for a stronger scent — the more often you turn them, the faster the liquid evaporates


• Do not use the diffuser near open flames, heat sources or direct sunlight


• Keep the liquid away from electrical appliances and sockets

Fragility

• The bottle is made of glass and is fragile — handle with care


• Do not place the bottle where it can easily be knocked over


• In case of breakage: do not touch shards with bare hands and dispose of them safely


• Wipe up any spilled liquid immediately with a dry cloth to protect surfaces from damage


• Do not store the bottle at height or on unstable surfaces

Health and safety

• Not suitable for people with severe allergies to perfume or fragrances


• Excessive use may cause headaches or irritation — ventilate the room regularly


• Do not use in rooms where babies, pregnant women or people with respiratory conditions are present without medical advice


• Do not ingest — if swallowed, contact a poison control centre immediately


• If contact with eyes occurs: rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention

Storage

• Store the diffuser upright to prevent leakage


• Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources — this accelerates evaporation


• Store in a cool, dry place


• Close the bottle with the original cap if the diffuser is not used for an extended period


• Keep the liquid away from food, drinks and food preparation surfaces
