Candle Safety Warnings

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets, and always use them in a well-ventilated area. The container (glass, ceramic, or metal) can become hot during use — never touch it with bare hands.

Fragility

• Candles in glass and ceramic are fragile — handle with care


• Check the container before each use for cracks, chips, or damage — do not use the candle if the container is damaged


• Do not expose glass and ceramic containers to sudden temperature changes, as this can cause cracking or shattering


• Do not place the candle on a cold surface when it has just been used


• Never burn the candle all the way to the bottom — the container may crack or break due to excessive heat


• Do not knock over or bump into the container during use


• In case of breakage: do not touch shards with bare hands and dispose of them safely

During Use

• Place the candle on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface


• Keep at least 10 cm distance between multiple burning candles


• Keep the candle away from curtains, paper, and other flammable materials


• Do not use the candle in a draft or near open windows


• Trim the wick to a maximum of 5 mm before each use


• Do not burn the candle for more than 4 consecutive hours


• Discontinue use if the flame gets too high or flickers excessively


• Extinguish the candle when approximately 1–2 cm of wax remains


• Remove packaging, labels, and decorations such as dried flowers before use


• Do not allow melted wax to overflow from the container


• In case of skin contact: wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap; if skin irritation or rash occurs, consult a doctor


• Avoid breathing smoke or vapor when extinguishing

Extinguishing and Storage

• Extinguish the candle using a candle snuffer — do not blow it out


• Never use water to extinguish a candle


• Ensure the flame is completely extinguished before leaving the room


• Always extinguish before going to sleep or leaving the house


• Avoid release of contents or packaging to the environment


• Dispose of contents and packaging in accordance with local regulations for waste disposal


• Allow the candle to cool down completely before moving or storing it


• Store candles upright, in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources


• Store glass and ceramic containers in a way that prevents them from falling or knocking against each other
