Fragility
- Glass and ceramic candles are fragile — handle them with care
- Check the holder for cracks, cracks or damage before each use — do not use the candle if the holder is damaged
- Do not expose glass and ceramic containers to sudden changes in temperature, as this may cause cracking or breakage
- Do not place the candle on a cold surface if it has just been used
- Never let the candle burn down to the bottom — the container may crack or break due to excessive heat
- Do not tip over or bump the holder during use
- In case of breakage: do not touch shards with bare hands and remove them safely
During use
- Place the candle on a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface
- Keep at least 10 cm distance between several burning candles
- Keep the candle away from curtains, paper, and other flammable materials
- Do not use the candle in drafts or near open windows
- Trim the wick to a maximum of 5 mm before each use
- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time
- Stop use if the flame becomes too high or flickers restlessly
- Extinguish the candle when there is about 1–2 cm of wax left
- Remove packaging, labels and decorations such as dried flowers before use
- Do not allow melted wax to overflow from the container
Extinguishing and storing
- Extinguish the candle with a fuse extinguisher or extinguisher — don't blow it out
- Never use water to extinguish a candle
- Check that the flame is completely extinguished before leaving the room
